The Sands here are so fine it is classed as premium silica, in fact it is so fine that NASSA actually sourced the silica grains from here to make the glass lens for the Humble Telescope currently in orbit. The Beach is one of those fairytale like views where second drift into minutes into hours and days soon pass by if your not careful!

This photo of the milkyway way captured a little after midnight at the darkest moment of the night in Western Australia. If you look carefully you can even see 2 shooting stars that fell during the long exposure.

These patient young men awake every morning at 4am and head to their hand made wooden stilts in the ocean. Each day they hope to catch enough small fish to feed their families and sell surplus to the local fish markets.

These old Farm buildings are part of Battistin Orchards farm that is situated in North Queensland. Avocados are farm here i had the pleasure of working during a visit to Australia in 2011. The buildings are set on the top of the hill and capture the lovely colours as the sun sets into west.

The fireworks are funded by the local bars/restaurants and the council as a way of luring tourists and locals into the city at night. Despite happening almost weekly I think Its one of those things i don't think I would ever get bored of watching.

Sunrise over the Angkore Wat Temple is one of those mornings you will not forget in a hurry. With its might tall stone towers and hand carve walls it gives a slight chill over you as you enter into a true Cambodian historic site. The life of crime and punishment that this country has been through is beyond words.

As i cruised down the river I managed to capture this photos of four children age between 4 and 14 heading down the mud bank on the river towards the next town. No helmets or driving licence required apparently!
